Okay, I do like how you managed to work him into things. I don't mind fan characters being part of a canon series, it just bugs me when they are inserted as if they were always there, or merely just dropped in with no explanation. With Stripes, he's pretty much introduced as any other new character to the plot line might be, same as Archie would have added a new face with more than a background role to play.
